How do you consume your CBD?

How do you consume your CBD?

CBD oil has long been pushed aside, but is now an integral part of the daily lives of millions of people seeking support for anxiety, insomnia, pain, menopausal symptoms, sexual pleasure enhancement and more.

Navigating the jungle of CBD oils, edibles, vape pens and topicals can be intimidating. To add to the confusion, CBD works differently depending on how it's taken and affects different people in different ways.

So where should you start? With an oil or a vape pen? With a syrup? What do the terms 'broad-spectrum' and 'full-spectrum' mean? And how much CBD should you take?

The first step

" Can you take too much CBD? " is a frequently asked question. Technically it is possible, but you really, really have to try. In clinical studies, up to 1200 mg per day was prescribed for months and no side effects were recorded.

That being said, you should definitely consult a doctor if you are under medical treatment and want to start using cannabidiol. Although CBD is considered very safe, it may pose a slight risk to people with low blood pressure. It can also interfere with taking certain medications, so check with your doctor before you start experimenting.

Once you've been given the green light, you can narrow down your CBD options by asking a simple question:

What is your goal?

CBD interacts with a variety of receptors in the body, which is why it is used for so many different conditions. Choosing a CBD product becomes much easier when you know what you want it to do for you.

Generally, for health issues that affect the whole body - like stress or immune support - you want CBD to get into your bloodstream, so an oral solution like a CBD oil or pen vapes may be your best choice.

If your problem is more localized, such as menstrual cramps or menopause symptoms, a CBD oil may work holistically.

As CBD is well tolerated and difficult to overdose on, you can always try using more than one product, such as an oil and a vape pen.

Start slowly with small doses and make a note of how you feel. Some people find keeping a diary helpful in determining next steps.

Find the method that works best for you.

Foods with CBD

There are a variety of CBD-infused edibles ranging from CBD honey to syrups to edible oils. While they are very popular and work well for some people, it's important to note that they take a while to take effect. Also, the digestive process breaks down CBD before it enters the bloodstream. For this reason, we use water-soluble CBD for our CBD syrup, which is immediately bioavailable when it enters the mouth. It no longer needs to be digested to be active!

CBD oil

CBD oil is probably one of the best products for long-term relief of persistent symptoms such as chronic pain, anxiety and insomnia. Our oils contain broad spectrum CBD and are more effective while being fast acting.

The mucous membranes in your mouth are very permeable. If you leave a few drops of oil under your tongue, the CBD will be absorbed directly into your bloodstream.

When taken orally in this way, CBD is also active in your system over a longer period of 1 to 6 hours. It is most effective if you use it regularly, daily and over the long term, so that it has time to help balance your system.

Vape pen (vaporizer) CBD

Also known as a vaporizer or vape pen. In a vaporizer, a battery-powered coil heats a liquid containing CBD to boiling point, then the vapour is inhaled.

This type of consumption is much safer than smoking and works very quickly: CBD enters your bloodstream within seconds and penetrates the blood-brain barrier shortly afterwards. Vaping CBD is ideal for short-term relief of pressing symptoms such as anxiety or improving mood in the bedroom. It also doesn't last very long, so it's best to combine it with an oil, tincture or tonic for long-term relief.

Add CBD to your wellness routine.

When you start taking CBD, you should be patient and start slowly. Pay attention to how your body reacts. Always pay attention to quality and care in production and be aware that good CBD is not cheap and cheap CBD is not good. If you keep this in mind and follow a targeted plan, this natural, plant-derived compound may be the ideal solution to your problems.
